Individual Note: The Crouch family moved from Harrison Co, WV (then VA) in 1815 to Livingson Co. They helped establish Seven Springs Baptist Church. Thomas bought land at the junction of the Cumberland River and Claylicke Creek, near Patty's Bluff. He farmed this land, and it was known as Crouch's Landing for many years. The first Crouchs were though to come from Wales to VA and NC about 1750-55.
