A note on Everett Titcomb (I hope I get this right; I'm not sure if I remember everything correctly <grin>): John Barry is an enthusiastic proponent of the music of Everett Titcomb; he studied with Mr. Titcomb, and served as an assistant organist for Mr. Titcomb while a high school student in the Boston area. The offering anthem, "The strain upraise...", for organ, 4 part adult choir, and unison children's choir, is dedicated "To Herbert Peterson and the Choirs of The Church of the Epiphany, Walpole, Massachusetts", where John was assistant organist at the time; it is in manuscript and, as far as I know, unpublished.
